Here's how to connect to your Archean server and adjust the most important settings.
Connecting
- Open the server page in the client area and click Start.
- Wait until the status shows “running”. You can follow the progress in the Console tab.
- Copy the address (IP:Port) at the top of the server page.
- Launch Archean and connect via the server list or directly with the address.
Important settings
In the Startup variables tab:
- Server name (
SERVER_NAME) – name on the public server page. - Game mode (
GAME_MODE) –0= creative,1= adventure. - Online mode (
ONLINE_MODE) – whether the server is publicly listed. - Password (
PASSWORD) – password to join; empty = open. - Admins (
ADMINS) – Steam IDs with admin rights, one per line.
Changes in the Startup variables tab take effect on the next restart.
Good to know
- Only change entries marked [Experten] (expert) if you know what they do.
