With the clan fund, your fellow players share the cost of the server.
Setting it up
Server page → Manage card → Clan fund. It shows the current balance and a link. Use Copy to copy it and share it, e.g. on your Discord. There's nothing to switch on – every game server has a fund (except trial servers).
How players contribute
- Open the link. The page shows how much is in the fund and roughly how long it will last.
- Choose or enter an amount and a name to appear in the list (e.g. their player name).
- Click Contribute. The person gets an invoice and pays it by credit, PayPal or bank transfer – depending on what is offered.
Once the invoice is paid, the amount goes into the fund. Contributing requires a free customer account.
What the money is used for
- When a renewal of your server is due and your own credit isn't enough, we pay it from the fund first.
- The fund doesn't pay for upgrades, only the normal renewal.
- If the server ends, the rest of the fund is added to your account as credit.
Good to know
- Money paid in belongs to the server fund and is not refunded to the players.
- The contract and invoices stay with you as the owner. Contributing doesn't give players access to the server – that's what Sharing is for.
