Upload your own world from your PC to the server

How to take your single-player world from Minecraft, Valheim, Terraria or Palworld to your server.

You already have a world on your PC and want to continue playing it with friends on the server? For Minecraft, Valheim, Terraria and Palworld we set it up automatically.

1. Find the world on your PC

Press Windows key + R, paste the path and press Enter:

  • Minecraft (Java): %appdata%\.minecraft\saves – each folder is a world.
  • Valheim: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds_local – you need the two files <worldname>.fwl and <worldname>.db.
  • Terraria: %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Terraria\Worlds – the file <worldname>.wld.
  • Palworld: %localappdata%\Pal\Saved\SaveGames – inside a folder with your Steam ID, and in it one folder per world containing Level.sav.

2. Pack it as a ZIP

Right-click the world folder or the files → Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder.

3. Upload it to the server

Server page → card Manage → Import save → upload the ZIP → Upload and set up. We stop the server, create a backup first if a backup slot is free, replace the existing world and start the server again. You can follow the progress under History.

Good to know

  • The existing world on the server is replaced. If you want to keep it, download it under Files first.
  • Valheim: Your world then runs under the server's world name (startup variable WORLD).
  • Palworld: Co-op saves bring along the world, bases and the other players' Pals. The host's character is stored differently in co-op saves and usually starts fresh on the server.
  • Other games, or a save from another host? See Taking over a save from your old host – for all other games our team sets it up.
