Many games read their most important settings at startup from so-called startup variables. You'll find them under your server → Startup variables.
- Under “Editable values” you'll see all settings you're allowed to change yourself, each with a short explanation.
- Enter the value, save, restart the server – only then does the change take effect.
- Under “Fixed values” you'll find values we set for you (e.g. ports or Steam access). You don't need to touch them.
Anything not listed in the startup variables is usually set in the game's configuration files under Files.
