If you installed your modpack via the Installer, we check every 6 hours whether there is a new version.
The notice on the server page
If there is an update, the overview of your server shows the notice “Update for …” with the installed and the new version.
- Click Update now and confirm.
- We automatically create a backup first, replace the mods and start the server – just like a new installation. You can follow the progress in the Installer tab.
The world and settings are kept, the mods are replaced.
What is offered
- Only versions for the same Minecraft version – an update won't move your world to a new Minecraft version.
- On Modrinth, only stable versions (no beta or alpha versions).
Good to know
- Your players will also need the new version of the modpack afterwards. Your invite page always shows the matching download.
- A free backup slot is needed for the backup. If all are used, delete an old one under Backups.
- There is no email about the update – only the notice on the server page. You decide when to update.
