Import your save from your old host (moving service)

Upload your world or save as an archive or import it via download link – automatic for Minecraft, Valheim, Terraria and Palworld, otherwise our team sets it up.

Moving from another provider? Bring your world along – free of charge.

How it works

  1. Download a backup or the save folder from your old provider as an archive (.zip, .tar.gz, .rar or .7z).
  2. Server page → Manage card → Import save.
  3. Upload the archive or enter a download link (see below).
  4. Under History you can see how far the import has got. The page refreshes itself.

Upload or link

  • Upload archive (up to 10 GB) → Upload and set up. Keep the window open until 100 % is reached.
  • Or download link → Apply. The link must be public and lead directly to the file (e.g. the backup download at your old host or a Dropbox link with ?dl=1).

Set up automatically

For these games we detect the save in the archive and set it up ourselves:

  • Minecraft (Java): world folder with level.dat – Nether and End are included.
  • Valheim: world files .fwl and .db.
  • Terraria: world file .wld.
  • Palworld: save folder with Level.sav.

We stop the server, create a backup “Vor Spielstand-Übernahme” if a backup slot is free, replace the previous world and start the server again.

All other games

Our team sets up the save by hand. A ticket is created for you automatically and you'll hear from us.

Good to know

  • There must be enough free storage on the server (about twice the archive size). Otherwise book more storage first under Book more power.
  • Only one import per server can run at a time.
