History on the server page
On your server's overview, the History card shows three charts – switchable between 24 h and 7 days:
- Players – with the peak in the period (for games that report player counts)
- Memory – with the peak compared to your limit
- CPU – 100 % equals one fully used core
We record the values every 5 minutes, so after a new order the first lines appear shortly. Below the charts you'll see what percentage of the time the server was online.
The recommendation
From the memory usage of the last 7 days (only while the server was running) we derive an honest recommendation. It appears at the top of the server page:
- “Your server is at its limit.” Memory is regularly above 90 % – this often explains lag and crashes. Upgrade to … books the next tier.
- “You can save money.” Over several days your server didn't even need half of its memory. Switch to … moves you down to a smaller, cheaper tier.
Both buttons open the Change resources page with the suggested tier preselected – you decide there. Don't show again hides the notice for 30 days.
Good to know
- There is no “at its limit” recommendation for Minecraft (Java): Java always occupies almost all of the assigned memory, even if it doesn't need it.
- High CPU while plenty of memory is free? Then a higher CPU tier helps more than more RAM.
- The recommendation also appears in the monthly report.
