DayZ, Arma 3, ARK: Survival Evolved and Squad servers have a Mods tab on the server page.
Adding mods
- Open Mods. On the right, you’ll see popular mods from the Steam Workshop.
- Search for a name – or paste a Workshop link or the mod ID directly.
- Click Add next to a mod. It appears on the left under “Your mods”.
- Click Save and restart the server.
On start, the server downloads new mods and updates by itself and sets up the keys (.bikey). The first time, this may take a few minutes depending on size – you can follow the progress in the Console.
Load order and server mods
- The order in the list is the load order. Frameworks such as CF belong at the top – use the arrows to move mods.
- Server only means: the mod only runs on the server, and players don’t need to subscribe to it (e.g. admin tools).
- Mods required by another mod are added automatically when you save and placed before it.
Your own mods
Mods you uploaded yourself via SFTP (e.g. @MeinMod) are left untouched. Enter them under Startup variables as before.
Players
Players subscribe to the mods in their launcher (for DayZ, e.g. via the DZSA Launcher, which downloads missing mods by itself).
ARK and Squad
- ARK: Survival Evolved: The server downloads the mods by itself on the next start. The order is the load order.
- Squad: Mods are only loaded when you Reinstall (Overview → Manage → Reinstall). Create a backup first – the game files are verified in the process.
- “Server only” isn’t available for ARK and Squad.
