Under your server → Sharing tab you give friends access to the server – without sharing your password.
How to invite someone
- Sharing tab → Invite someone card.
- Enter the person's email address.
- Under What is this person allowed to do? choose a role: Viewer, Moderator or Co-admin (what the roles can do is explained here).
- Click Grant access.
The person receives an email. If they already have an account with us, the access applies immediately and the server appears in their client area. Otherwise they get an invitation link and use it to create an account – with exactly the invited email address. Until then you'll see “awaiting sign-up”; with Copy invite link you can also send the link yourself.
Change and remove
In the list you can change the role at any time or revoke access with Remove access.
The contract, invoices, cancellation and the sharing settings always stay with you. If friends should share the costs, use the clan fund.
