You can change your server's resources yourself at any time – the server stays, and worlds, mods and settings are kept.
How it works
- Server page → Manage card → Book more power (or in the Configuration tab → Change resources).
- Under What would you like to change? choose the new tier – depending on the game, memory, storage, CPU performance, backup slots or databases.
- Under What it costs you'll see the new price and what is due today. Confirm with Apply change.
Bigger (upgrade)
You only pay the pro-rata difference for the remaining days until the next renewal. The invoice is paid from your credit if it's enough. The new resources apply as soon as payment has arrived – restart the server afterwards.
Smaller (downgrade)
A downgrade is applied immediately. The lower price applies from the next renewal; there is no refund for the current period. Only reduce storage if your files will safely fit.
Which tier is right?
On the server page, the History shows how much memory your server really needs. If it's constantly at its limit – or far too large – a recommendation appears there with a button that preselects the right tier. More: History and performance recommendation.
If it lags even though memory is free, more CPU performance usually helps more.
