Here's how to connect to your Palworld server and adjust the most important settings.
Connecting
- Open the server page in the client area and click Start.
- Wait until the status shows “running”. You can follow the progress in the Console tab.
- Copy the address (IP:Port) at the top of the server page.
- In Palworld, choose “Join Multiplayer Game (Dedicated Server)” and enter the address at the bottom.
Important settings
In the Startup variables tab:
- Server name (
SERVER_NAME) – name of your server. - Server description (
SERVER_DESCRIPTION) – description of the server. - Server password (
SERVER_PASSWORD) – if set, players need it to join. - Max. players (
MAX_PLAYERS) – keep an eye on the available memory. - Admin password (
ADMIN_PASSWORD) – unlocks the admin commands in-game.
Changes in the Startup variables tab take effect on the next restart.
Good to know
- The portal generates the admin password automatically during setup. It is shown once at the top of the server page – please make a note of it. You can change it in the Startup variables tab (
ADMIN_PASSWORD). - The first start takes longer because the server files are downloaded and set up.
