Under Security in the client area you add extra protection to your account – even if your password ever falls into the wrong hands.
Two-factor authentication (authenticator app)
- Security → Two-factor authentication → Set up now.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g. Aegis, 2FAS, Google or Microsoft Authenticator).
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app and click Turn on.
- Keep the ten recovery codes somewhere safe (copy or print them). Each code works once in case you lose your phone.
From then on, login asks for the code in addition to your password.
Passkeys
With Add passkey you log in with your fingerprint, face recognition or a security key. If you like, Require passkey for password sign-in asks for the passkey in addition to your password.
Used up your recovery codes? Generate new ones under Security.
