Automatic payment for game servers and VPS

Save a card and renewals run by themselves – switch it on or off per game server.

With automatic payment you don't have to worry about renewals: invoices are charged to your saved payment method on the due date.

Which services?

  • Game servers – optional, you switch it on or off per server.
  • Nexus VPS – always, a VPS only runs with automatic payment.

Switching it on

  • When ordering: at checkout, when paying via Stripe, tick “Automatically charge future invoices …”. The payment method you are paying with is saved.
  • Later: client area → Automatic payment (under your account). Save your card (or another payment method offered there) and switch on the servers you want.
  • On the server: the server page shows under Automatic payment whether it is on – with a button to switch it on or off.

Nothing is charged when you save a payment method. Your payment details are stored securely with our payment provider Stripe, not with us.

How a renewal works

  1. About 7 days in advance you receive the invoice by email.
  2. On the due date, your credit is used first if it is sufficient.
  3. If not, the amount is charged automatically. Your server keeps running without interruption.

If a charge fails

For example because the card has expired: you receive an email with a link to pay the invoice directly. We try up to three times, two days apart. Best update your payment method under Automatic payment right away.

Switching off or changing

  • Switch off a single game server: under Automatic payment or on the server page. You then pay its invoices yourself again.
  • Change payment method: simply save a new one, it replaces the old one.
  • Remove payment method: automatic payment is then off for all servers.
