There are two kinds of codes – and they are redeemed in different places.
Give a gift card
- In the client area → Give a gift card.
- Choose or enter an amount. Optionally, under “For whom?”, enter a name, email address and a personal message – the recipient then gets the code directly by email.
- Click Buy gift card and pay the invoice (credit, PayPal or bank transfer – depending on what is offered).
After payment, the code arrives by email. Under Your gift cards you can see whether it has been redeemed. A gift card is valid for 3 years until the end of the year and works for every game.
Redeem a gift card
In the client area → Credit → Redeem voucher: enter the code and click Redeem. The amount is added to your credit – which you use to pay for orders and renewals.
Discount code when ordering
Enter discount codes (e.g. from a promotion or a creator) in the cart under Redeem voucher code. One code applies per order. Whether the discount applies only to the first invoice or permanently depends on the code and is shown in the cart.
If a code doesn't work
- “This is a credit voucher” → redeem it under Credit, not in the cart.
- “This is a discount code” → enter it in the cart when ordering.
- Some codes are only valid for new customers, only for certain games or only within a certain period. The message tells you why.
